With Open Gambia, we attempt to make digital transformation and innovation a reality. Built on the philosophy that inclusive, trusted, and convenient use of technology should not be a luxury for a privileged few, OGA attempts to bring this experience to Gambia, a country that global digital platforms have overlooked despite overwhelming demand and the pervasive infrastructure for digital commerce.

With high penetration and the use of smartphones, OGA seeks to leverage them to realise the future of e-commerce in developing countries - a more inclusive, organised, and digitised system of commercial transactions using Beckn open protocols right from the very beginning - not based on global platforms that create exclusion and dependency.
